12WBT - bring it on!

The last time I managed to get myself focussed and lose weight was when I was doing the Michelle Bridges 12 week body transformation challenge so I have decided to do it again, and this time I'll finish it!

I have reactivated my gym membership and made sure I can use my membership at both my local gyms since one closes at 9pm so I know I can use the other one. I am also going to buy a polar heart rate monitor so I can see how many calories I am burning during a workout so that I know if i need to push harder. I also have an app on my phone to track my calorie intake during the day.

Basically I am arming myself with as many tools as I can to ensure that I get through the 12 weeks (begining next monday) and make them a success. Ultimately I want to lose 20-25kg, if i can lose 12kg over the next 12 weeks, then I will sign up to the 12wbt again and get rid of the remaining 12 kg over that 12 weeks, which will mean that HOPEFULLY by the start of summer I will be down to my goal weight, or atleast damn close to it!

I need to keep myself focussed on the end result - yes that late night snack might seem appealing, but MY GOD it will feel good to go into summer and be able to buy gorgeous sun dresses and shorts! It was so long ago that this was a possibility it seems almost unrealistic, but i KNOW that I can do it!

  1. GO GIRL!! I really admire the steps you're taking to make this a reality, hun.

I've never really been into the whole programming thing but from everything I've heard about this challenge, it's fantastic!

Really sets up a future of eating right and educating on portion sizes, good foods, etc.

I have nothing but faith in you, Mel - go get ém! :-D
